For this reason, we have created a plug & play kit for installing an oil cooler.
This kit contains everything you need to integrate an oil cooler into your system.

The set consists of the following components:

The oil cooler
The job of the oil cooler, as the name suggests, is to cool the lubricating oil in your vehicle's engine. In this way, together with the cooling water system, it ensures a thermal balance that prevents the engine from dangerously overheating.

Inlet/Outlet Size: AN-10
Core size: 290mm x 72mm x 50mm
Overall size: 330mm x 99mm x 50mm
Made from high quality T-6061 aluminum
Powder coated for durability and protection

Filter adapter (sandwich plate)
Middle adapter: M20 x 1.5 & 3/4 x 16 UNF thread
Supports oil filter with M20 thread.
Mounted between block and oil filter.

Oil lines
2 oil lines, precisely fitting in length from the filter adapter to the oil cooler
Connections Dash AN10 and M16 ring nipples including copper sealing rings and banjo bolts.

Oil cooler holder

You can adapt the holder to your oil cooler. Installation is very easy and done
on original photos of the Golf 1 body. So you don't have to drill or weld anything.
The left holder is attached to the bumper mount, the right holder to the front engine mount mount. This is done using the standard mounting screws.

The holder is black powder-coated and comes with the required screws

Short oil filter
When integrating an oil cooler, the original oil filter is often too long.
For this reason, our set includes a short oil filter for easy installation of the kit.
