The shift lever is significantly longer and mounted higher. This not only ensures a brutal racing look.
In this way, it moves much closer to the steering wheel, your shift travel and gear changes are reduced by 40%
under load or when cornering become child's play.

All bearings are coated with Teflon so that these short switching paths are also extremely precise.
An integrated shift lock for reverse gear protects you from shifting gears.
With freely adjustable gear stops, you can also lock the 5th or 5th and 6th gear and use the
Release shift lock. Perfect for a quick shift from 2nd to 3rd without the risk of hitting 5th.

A return spring also automatically pulls the shift lever into the middle position and thus conveys a
more direct feeling when changing the shift gates while shifting up or down.

The use of high-quality aluminum for the lever and frame and stainless steel for all screws
guarantees minimum weight with maximum stability.

The Short Shifter fits all VW/Seat models with 02A/02J 5 and 6 speed cable transmissions. If you are not sure, just contact us!

The installation only requires basic vehicle knowledge. Depending on the model, modifications to the body and the center console may be necessary. The original shift cables can still be used.

The Short Shifter fits the original shift cables of all 02A cable transmissions, as well as 02J transmissions of the old version. You can recognize this, for example, by the different diameters of the selector cable and shift cable.

If both shift cables have the same diameter, you need the 02M shifter! Contact us if you are unsure.

In the case of models with shift cables routed under the vehicle ex works, the shift cables must be routed into the interior afterwards!
